Hello,
I am writing to you from London; a trip that is partly work-related, but amongst this I have also been doing a lot of wandering about (because it’s London and as long as it’s not chucking it down, you can just keep on walking), visiting museums/exhibitions, seeing mates, and taking lots of photos.
Perhaps the time doing some touristing has helped to spark some creativity because this is a surprise post as I did indicate previously that I was taking this month off. Although one could argue that this post was inspired by the Memories feature on my iPhone because I was reminded the other day that it was TEN YEARS AGO this month that I was in Australia. A whole decade. Over four weeks I travelled from Melbourne to Cairns, took a flight to Perth, and then home. I loved it.
For that trip, I took my newly purchased but very basic DSLR camera, and it was clear then as much as it was now looking back through them that I had no idea what I was doing. Regrettably, I have lost many of the images through negligence on my part by not looking after the camera/memory card. That said, I thought that I would share a few photos that I salvaged.

Thanks for reading and see you in a few weeks!
Sarah
