Good for you, Sarah! Scheduling and committing to your writing time makes a difference, for sure. I do what you do, looking at the week ahead and setting aside the time to work on my novel and Substack. I stick to it, more or less, while remaining flexible.

Thanks Maria - my week changes week to week (as I am doing supply teaching), so as much as I might like to have set days to do things, it's impossible. Therefore, I have changed my mindset and have found that when I can carve out time, that's great, and try to remain flexible, rather than having a rigid outlook on it.

Do you find yourself wishing for more time in the day? I sometimes do... but I am also trying to get better at taking breaks and resting.

All the time! Even if it seems a relatively calm week, all those minutes somehow get used and they never feel like enough to do everything I want to do. But maybe that says more about me than it does about the clock!😬 You are absolutely right about the value of taking a break, though. I'm getting better, but still need to be reminded occasionally, so thank you.

I can totally relate - I am like, where has the time gone? Why is there not more of it, but then I have to also remind myself that I am not a machine, and nor do I want to be. Glad you enjoyed the post :)
