Cobs! Did you grow up near a Birds bakery by any chance? I do love to seek out a Birds cob when I visit my parents.

Love this list and why not go for 51, it's more interesting than 50! And thanks for reminding me that I need to get my passport renewed.

Thanks, and you're right - 51 is more interesting! Bit mad though that I have stuck at this for 51 posts now.

I most certainly did grow up near a Bird's bakery haha! I assume you did too? (Are they a Midlands thing/chain/brand?) My nan used to take me along on a Saturday morning too when I was a kid, now that I am thinking that I pop into one when I am back in the UK next month. I will send an email with you about this soon ;)

Yes, I think it’s an East Midlands shop. Vanilla slice and elephant’s foot were some of the cream cakes I think?!

Oh, I do love a good list myself. And Taskmaster FOREVERRR!

Also, as someone who writes a gratitude list every morning, I know how good it is to push yourself to write such a long list. Congratulations on being a lovely human being, xo

Thanks Lani! Lists and Taskmaster forever! I have not watched any of the series beyond the UK one, have you?

Apparently, the UK version is incredibly popular in the US, which kinda surprised me. But then, UK humour can be wonderfully weird!

I, too, haven’t watched any spinoffs outside the UK. Yes, there was a time when they tried to do an American version with Alex Horne, but it failed miserably. I never watched, so I don’t know why.

I think Downton Abbey got folks into the British fever and since TM uploaded their episodes on YT it took off. It didn’t happen overnight, I’ve been a subscriber in the beginning, but suddenly, yeah, they’ve got over a million subscribers the last I checked.

I am really glad that there is a YouTube channel! In the UK, Taskmaster is shown on a cable channel and I can't get that in Hong Kong (I think!).

Not sure if you have seen this clip, but Greg Davies and Alex Horne discuss the success of the UK version here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsJTS8KldvE

Thanks for that. Too sweet and awesome! Here’s their YT channel: https://www.youtube.com/@Taskmaster ~ everything and more is on there and it’s so much fun!

Congratulations on your 51st post, Sarah. I liked the way you reflected on your milestone. The number of your posts doesn't matter, but we need something to keep us going. Writing posts gives me more opportunities to look around the world. At least I'm keeping an eye on my topic.

Completely agree about the number being less important, but still it can act as a good reminder!

Looking forward to following along for the next 51! 💕

A happy accident to make it 51 instead of 50. All the more memorable and special. Does that mean the next celebration will be 102? :)

Haha! I was thinking like 96 or 111? I need to start researching auspicious numbers too 😆

I tried not to think too hard about it and be a little silly. Thanks for reading through, it's quite random haha!
